“ September 2024: Spotted this place whilst passing through Kendal and decided to stop off for some lunch. Lovely cafe with great selection of food and drinks. After being shown to the table, you then need to order food at the counter - some people might not like this but I do as it means you can order without being put under pressure. Food was delicious and well presented. Venue itself had a relaxed atmosphere and was very busy. Only downside is that there was only one toilet and the tables were quite close together. Menu is reasonably priced, given the quality. Free wi-fi was available. Highly recommend a visit if in Kendal. ”

“ An absolutely amazing gem of a place. We had breakfast here on the Saturday of Bank Holiday weekend. We needed a table for 4, and although we had to wait for a table, it wasn't the 15mins. We had a lovely table nearvthe back. The menu is fabulous and we were spoilt for choice- benedicts, ciabattas, hash, pancakes and eggy bread . Order was placed and service was amazing. Great food, great staff, great choice, we are definitely coming back when we next visit kendal. Thank you so much ”
